1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when you create an account, including your name, email address, and organisation name.

Usage data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service — pages visited, features used, agent runs initiated, and API calls made.

Technical data: IP addresses, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers collected via standard server logs and telemetry.

Content: Any data, code, or text you submit to the Service, including work items, repository metadata, and AI agent outputs.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to: provide and improve the Service; authenticate your identity; send transactional emails (billing, security alerts, product updates); analyse usage patterns to improve features; and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your Content to train AI models without explicit opt-in consent.

Aggregated, anonymised usage statistics may be used for product analytics and benchmarking.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on servers located in the European Union and/or India. We apply encryption at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3).

Access to production databases is restricted to authorised personnel only, using role-based access controls and audit logging.

While we implement industry-standard security measures, no system is completely secure. We encourage you to use strong, unique passwords and enable two-factor authentication.

4. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party platforms including Microsoft Azure DevOps, Microsoft Teams, and Anthropic's AI APIs. Data shared with these services is governed by their respective privacy policies.

We use the following sub-processors: PostgreSQL hosting (Supabase or self-hosted), vector storage (Qdrant), graph database (Dgraph), and observability (SigNoz).

We do not embed third-party advertising trackers on any page of the Service.

5. Data Retention

Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription and 30 days after cancellation, after which it is permanently deleted.

Audit logs are retained for 90 days on Free plans and 12 months on Pro/Enterprise plans.

Backups are retained for 30 days and are purged on a rolling basis.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; export your data in a machine-readable format; and object to or restrict certain processing activities.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@metapointer.com. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are located in the EU/EEA, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
